Good one.

We bought this for kid who loves swords. He plays on it for hours. The quality is really good and steadiness is brilliant. But its bit heavy for a kid of 11 yrs. But he still plays ..

Brilliant company

Apologies for my late review but this was awesome. I took a risk on giving an 8 yo kid (who is obsessed with ninjas and sticks this as a Christmas gift as opposed to the cheap crap at toys r us). To say that he loved it (more than the rest of his tech gadgets, and usual pyjamas and bllx) is an understatement. Sentimental stuff aside. It was quickly despatched, very well packaged, perfectly as described and (as I'd hoped) incredible value for money.One side note is that my junior ninja has left me with a black eye today, so this item is NOT a toy 😍

Great product, arrived promptly

I've used a larger version for training before but bought this for my home use and despite being a fair bit lighter it is just as durable as the bigger versions and has the added feature of the sheath + ribbon for fastening. Very happy with it, would recommend.

Survives the hardest of hits

Won't find anything better for the price.Things that I must point out: despite being made of a very tough material (I've hit this thing really hard against other polypropylene weapons), the edge of the blade chips very easily. Despite this, the effectiveness is not compromised, and even though I've been doing some heavy full contact sparring 2 times a week for 3 months with this bokken, it looks like it will last me at least half a year longer. Also, the Tsuba is terrible. It snapped in half after taking just a couple hits from a longsword. This isn't too much of an issue as it did save my fingers before it cracked, and a Tsuba can be found for cheap ($2.50 from 100 spartans), and they are very easy to install on this Bokken design.Those are the only issues that prevented a 5 star, but unless you wish to spend double the price, no sparring bokken will be of significantly better quality than this one.The scabbard is a nice addition, and the simple design can't really be complained against.

Good quality, quite heavy, fastening is a bit meh but I like it

Bought this for a cosplay. It’s a solid piece of kit! Quite a bit of weight and it looks the part. As others have said, the sword is a bit slack in the scabbard so you need to add something to stop it just falling out. The ribbon is also a bit pathetic - I’d have liked a better way of fastening it on or carrying it the first time I used it. But as a cosplay item it’s a perfect size, does the job and looks good as a generic/non-Hashira Demon Slayer Corps sword 👍
