A plus of the the product is that it’s compact for a home gym but the quality is not full commercial grade (and that’s okay) but actually more akin to a home/light-commercial grade mix, so definitely superior to a standard product. Now, to me, it was perfect for our home gym, we didn’t want a basic product, and we did not want to spend thousands of dollars on a commercial grade, nor did we have the room for something full commercial grade. This item was perfect for us (e.g., size, price point, functionality). To be clear, the only real concern of the grade is with the weight ratio and the Company has since reached out to us to help us understand our concerns, they informed us of the accessories that existed that allow for one to push a higher weight and why the accessory item is necessary (awesome customer service and people that really care for their product and the physical fitness journey), the product itself looks fantastic, operates well, and is fully functional and easy to use.PROS: You get two machines for the price of one! The machine is able to be adjusted quickly to transition from hack squats to leg press with relative ease. Engineering seems sound as my legs are growing and I am still here today. I have used up to 300 LBS of plates (recommended) and the machine handled this well. It does have a built in weight holder for your plates too, which is nice.CONS: When performing exercises, the overall weight does not feel as if it is a 1:1 ratio, due to what I assume is something to do with the double function/engineering design due to the way the mass of the weights are distributed while they are resting on the machine, (e.g., angles, etc.) from my experience as a commercial gym user of 6+ years, it feels like a .75:1 ratio (e.g., 300 lbs. feels like 225 lbs.)This was the original reason for our concern (hence 2 stars versus the 5 now) but have since mitigated that concern after speaking with the Company who advised us on some accessory items that allow for those users (like us who probably should have a commercial piece of equipment to move beyond the capabilities and limitations of this particular product). Now, how many people actually max out 300 LBS on a machine, but for those of us that do, what comes next? The answer is this, the Company makes an accessory item that allows you to add up to 200 more pounds, and using the subjective ratio I referenced above, that would be somewhere around 375 to 400 lbs which should get the job done for most of us females out there. For reference, I am about 145lb female lean/slim 5’5 and have had this product for a few months. My fiancée doesn’t feel the difference between commercial vs this product as he isn’t a regular user of the leg press at the gym.

Well Worth The Money Awesome Leg Press
The Leg Press arrived in 4 boxes. The instructions and hardware are in box 4. You have to open all 4 boxes before you start assembling the product. You have to be really good at looking at the pictures and paying very close attention because there is not a lot of written instructions. The screws, nuts, bolts and washers are all numbered, so it makes it extremely easy to assemble.DO NOT remove the plastic from any parts until it is time to install the part, because there is a number assigned to each part, and it’s on the plastic, not the part. It came with tool, but you’ll need an adjustable wrench, rubber mallet, a metric socket set, and I used a metric ratcheted wrenches. You’ll thank me later. Some parts are left and right so lay them out accordingly. It took me about 4 hours with many long breaks in between. It works very well in the hack squat and the leg press positions. It’s very sturdy and perfect for home use. I can’t wait for leg day now that I have this at home. Disclaimer: There are a couple of times where 2 people might be needed to lift the foot plate assembly. I did it by myself, but be prepared with a 2nd person available.

Very happy with the end result of assembling this combo leg machine. Well packaged in 4 separate boxes and all parts were properly labeled as well as all the hardware needed were well packaged and complete. Although it came with the tools needed for assembly, it was much faster to assemble using my socket wrenches and my cordless drill for power screwing. You do need a 2nd set of helping hands in order to assemble the heavier sections of this exercise machine. Now I’m just waiting ang hoping to purchase additional 45lbs weight plates.

We have been using the machine for the last 3 weeks and it’s been an excellent addition to our home gym. Assembly: Putting the machine together was a breeze, thanks to the relatively easy-to-follow instructions. While there were a few steps that required a bit of extra attention, the overall assembly process was smooth sailing. A minor rework of some instructions would be beneficial.
Sturdiness and Durability: One of the most impressive features of the Leg Press Hack Squat Machine is its undeniable sturdiness. I’ve pushed its limits with various weights, and it has never faltered, providing a stable and secure platform for my exercises.
Ease of Use: The transition from leg press to hack squat is seamless, allowing for a versatile and comprehensive lower-body workout.Smooth and Comfortable: The smooth gliding motion of the sled combined with the comfortable padding has truly made my workouts enjoyable. No jerks, no uncomfortable jolts – just a fluid and controlled movement that targets the muscles without causing unnecessary stress.
Space-Saving Design: Even though it’s a substantial piece of equipment, I was pleasantly surprised by how efficiently the LP-10 Leg Press Hack Squat Machine fits into my home gym setup.

I researched a lot of machines that could fit my height, budget and limited garage gym space. I am 5‘3“ and I am able to get down low enough into the hack squat by removing the safety bar. It’s still safe if I do this. That would be my only suggestion for improvement is that this be modified just a bit so I could still have the safety bar in place but I’m not worried about it. It was very easy to assemble. All the parts are very well labeled and instructions were clear; better than any other piece of exercise equipment I’ve assembled. Very satisfied with the product; great value, I’d buy it again.

Love it! The seat comes off so you can go lower. It’s quite pricey, which is to be expected for such a well built and sturdy equipment. I recommend this product a million times over
