Man….I usually don’t take a chance on items without reviews but this one was worth it. It’s sturdy….the suction cups and springs in the base work great. It is just as quiet as advertised. No need for expert assembly, as they do half the work for you. I filled it with two-50lb bags of sand and the base literally doesn’t move. My punches pack a wallop so I was expecting it to budge a little but nothing. Other than filling the base, all you have to do is screw the lugs in to connect the bag to the base. Filling and screwing took me about an hour or so. This is definitely worth every penny. Great addition to my home gym and it doesn’t take up much space….I LOVE IT!
UPDATE (1 YEAR LATER):So, it’s been a long time since I purchased this bag, and I’m happy to say….it is still standing! I am still more than happy with my purchase! I wish I could give them another 5 stars. The leather has held up great. It’s stored in my garage – which is where I use it – on cement floor. The garage can get pretty hot in these hot Texas summers; so I’m shocked not to see any deterioration. Still looks like I i just bought it though…aside from the obvious punching spots, but even those don’t look too bad. Over the years my health has been up and down, so admittedly I’m not as strong as I used to be, but I’ll get back.

I didn’t even know how much I needed to own my own punching bag until my husband bought this for us. I think I use it more than he does now. This is an amazing stress reliever. I feel so satisfied and complete when I’m done kicking the cr** out of this thing!It was so easy to set up. It came in two different boxes which arrived a couple days apart. The first piece was the part that you fill up with either sand or water. We opted to fill it up with sand because it would make it heavier. That was a little bit of a pain but definitely worth it in the end because it weighs 182 pounds on just that part alone, allowing it to take a heck of a punch.The second part to arrive is the target part. That was already set up and assembled. I just had to connect the top part to the bottom part, which was done by screws and washers using the little tool that came with the bottom part. Assembly took me approximately 2 to 3 minutes maximum. I did it myself.We use this thing every single day. We are forever punching it and kicking it. It’s excellent exercise and an incredible stress reliever. I put my Fitbit on my wrist and win competitions against all my friends. I use this every single day and I could not be happier with it

I previously owned a Century Wavemaster original standing punching bag, and compared to that this one far exceeds my expectations and is better in the following 3 ways. 1) Stability: I hit the bag with everything I had and the base didn’t move. 2) Density: When I hit this bag it feels dense and hence can be used to develop power. While not equivalent to a heavy bag, it’s much better than my wavemaster. 3) Length: The fact that it is LONG allows for all types of punches and kicks

My husband and I wanted to buy a punching bag as part of our home gym since Covid19 and not being able to go to our gym outside the home. We chose this particular one based on its good reviews and we were not disappointed. It shipped in two seperate boxes to account for its size. This was actually very helpful because all together in one box would have been impossible for me to move. The setup proved to be very smooth and easy. And just to see which one works the best we tried both water and sand in the base and ultimately decided to go with the sand because it just made the bass feel a little more solid than the water. The punching bag itself is made of good material and quality stitching. The suction cups on the bottom worked far better than I could have anticipated. We’ve been using the punching bag almost every day for the past month and really have no complaints!

Fast shipping! Came in two separate boxes, and they did arrive on different days. However, shipping was Fast, the bag is amazing. Perfect setup for my office. I used water in the base for now and that seems to be holding up! The suctions cups help alot! The punching bag itself is prefilled and whatever material it is, its nice! Not too hard or too soft; feels good to kick and punch. Definitely recommend!

I am very happy with this product. It was extremely easy to put together and it was taller than I originally thought. When it’s attached to the base it’s like 6ft tall. It was thinner that I thought but honestly that just means it doesn’t take up a lot of space.I’m 5ft tall and it works for all my needs. I would suggest filling the base with rocks or sand. Because I filled mine with water and it sloshes everywhere when I hit it. Other than that it works very well. If you have a strong punch I would suggest getting a heavier punching bag. But since I’m a beginner it works very well for me.

Like myself, I’ve read reviews about the cap falling off or in or leaking water (we used sand and water mixed). Ditch the red cap and buy a 1 1/2 inch pressure cap from Ace (cost me six bucks). 100% effective. I used two wrenches to tighten it just enough prior to squeezing it in the hole and then finished by tightening it up snug once in the hole. Perfect solution.

Updated – gonna add more sand cause there’s space left and 100lbs isn’t enough just yet!!Had to go the MacGyver route to create a funnel for filling the sand – and it worked like a champ!!Super easy to assemble – one bolt thread didn’t want to play nicely but with a bit of encouragement it went in just fine.Didn’t use the suction cups on this – but so far the two 50lb bags of sand seem to be enough to keep it from moving around.Love the product so far and happy with my purchase.
