Make sure to buy the right size, when they tell you it will shrink 1-3 inches they are not kidding. Karategui of the highest quality, stitching, cambas weight (12), and cotton all you can expect from much pricier brands. I am used to to dogui jackets that are a little bit shorter than this one but I think that might be an industrial trend. The draw cord for the jacket is wide and well stitched. The pants come with an elastic waist band. Knowing like I do the going prices of the leading Japanese brands, this is a very good deal; now remember, some of those brands are custom made to your specifications, this is not. Its simply perfect, the only flaw being that I would have liked the in – seam to be about 1 inch longer, but that’s just me.

This gi is well-made. Even the ties are of higher quality material. It is true that it fits a bit larger than the size would indicate. I’ve worn it after washing three times in hot water and drying on high heat. It seems to have shrunk down a bit and there was no fading. I would recommend this product.

I use a Tokaido brand primarily and got this as a backup. The quality of this is amazing, easily as good of quality as other more expensive brands. Great snap, heavy and durable. I’ll continue to buy these when I need them.
I do Wado Ryu, which incorporates a lot of Jujutsu throws. My Tokaido ripped, and given that it was a $200 gi, I did not want to replace it with another expensive, high quality gi, but I also needed something with some heavy weight for the throws. I tried other brands, which were far cheaper quality for almost similar price. This is perfect for my style, because the heavy quality will allow throws without draining my pocket book when it tears up.

I dont know if I can say enough how fantastic this gi is. Returning from a 16 year hiatus, getting back into the groove of it all, I realized something I didnt have the first time around was a solid gi for tests and tournaments. This absolutely fits the bill. That “snap” sound it makes with good kicks and punches is delicious! Love this!
A NOTE ON SIZING: I am a 5’9″ 145 lb athletic built woman. Based on othet reviews I bought a size 130 and SOOOO GLAD I did!! It fits PERFECT! my usual size in Century is a 140. It would have been way too big though in 100 spartans . Brilliantly executed! And thanks guys for selling!!

I was looking for a second gi and I wanted a looser fit. I am a traditional karateka with 29 years experience. I am also wide and muscular at 5’10” and 250 lbs. The size 7 was too big, so I sent it back and got the size 6. The jacket is long and the pants had plenty of room for my thighs. We trimmed and cuffed the sleeves and pants and I love the fit. The gi is heavy without being an armor suit. Very happy so far.

This is certainly a good product but the size chart is way off. I bought a size 160cm based on the size chart but it’s way too big. I’m 5’7″ and 200 pounds and this is at least one size too big.

This is a great brand of Gi. They fit a large American body and they have good quality. Shipping was fast and I love the product.

When gi first arrived I tried it on and was big for the size. I called 100 spartans and was instructed to wash on warm or hot water and then dry in dryer for 3 to 4 times. After 3rd time the gi fit good. I worked out in it several times then washed again and gi fits great and has that broken in feel.
I have wore several brands and this here is by far the best in quality and their customer service is amazing.
